Freda to Run for Re-Election

North Haven First Selectman Michael Freda confirmed late Thursday (March 28) that he plans to run for re-election this November. If elected, it would be the Republican’s third term in office.

While Freda said he is most proud of his work in bringing Yale-New Haven Hospital to North Haven, he feels there are more opportunities and challenges in town that he would like to face.

“There are so many opportunities here and challenges I view as opportunities,” said Freda. “If we are able to consummate these opportunities, it will be good for North Haven.”

Freda said he plans to continue his work on economic development projects. He also plans to focus on bringing more senior housing projects to town.
