Board of Education Shortens School Days

Last night (Tuesday), the Board of Education took formal action modifying the school calendar. The instructional calendar was reduced from 183 days to 180 days, making the last student day Monday, June 24, an early dismissal day. For those impacted at the high school level, per Board of Education policy, the graduation date is annually established at the first April meeting of the Board of Education. This year, that meeting will be April 2.
