Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Vehicle on Middletown Avenue

On Jan. 23, 2013 at 6:45 p.m., the North Haven Police Department received several 911 calls reporting a vehicle striking a pedestrian on Middletown Avenue in the area of Quinnipiac Avenue. Upon arrival of emergency services, it was found that a 47-year-old female was attempting to cross Middletown Avenue when she was struck by a vehicle traveling northbound. The female succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The South Central Connecticut Regional Traffic Unit is investigating the incident. Anyone who witnessed the crash is encouraged to contact the North Haven Police Department at 203-239-5321.
