Three Guilford Stores Allegedly Failed Alcohol Compliance Checks
The Department of Consumer Protection’s Division of Liquor Control, in partnership with the Guilford Police Department and a 16-year old volunteer from the Governor’s Prevention Partnership, conducted compliance checks in ten package and grocery stores in Guilford on Saturday, January 12

According to a press release sent from the Department of Consumer Protection, three stores allegedly failed these checks by selling alcohol to the minor. The stores were Big Y on 830 Boston Post Road, Guilford Wine Company on 1200 Boston Post Road, and Sachem Wine and Spirits, 1795 Boston Post Road.
The stores were charged on the allegations of selling liquor to a minor and will be heard in front of the Liquor Control Commission.
