North Branford Public Schools is reviewing applications received through Jan. 11 for armed school security officers. Those chosen will have experience as sworn law enforcement officers with current firearm permits, and ideally recent training in active threat response. Salary $140 daily, work schedule seven hours per day on school days. Word is seven officers are to be hired, five to be on duty at all times with two as rotational workers.
