A few residents spent their chilly Wednesday morning protesting a large, window front sign located at 1 East Main Street at what will be the new home of another massage parlor in town as of January 15th- Serenity Massage and Wellness Center.

Those who attended the gathering are upset that not only is there going to be another massage parlor in Clinton after Jade Massage Therapy was shut down last year due to the owner being charged with prostitution and promoting prostitution, but also largely due to the signage in the window of the building, with residents calling it "distasteful and inappropriate."

"This is not what Clinton wants on our Main Street," Jane Scully Welch said.
