Civil Rights Claim: Cooke Sues DaRos, Neal

Attorneys for Branford citizen Wayne Cooke,creator of this "protest trailer," seen in Branford and outside Town Hall regularly since 2010, have announced he is suing First Selectman Anthony "Unk" DaRos and Town Assessor Barbara Neal for violations of his civil rights.
Wayne Cooke of Branford has filed a federal lawsuit against First Selectman Anthony DaRos and Assessor Barbara Neal for First and Fourteenth Amendment civil rights violations and deprivation of civil rights under Section 1983 of the United States Code.
In addition, Cooke has filed a separate suit in state court against DaRos for slander.
Cooke is being represented by the Marcus Law Firm of North Branford, CT.
