From downed trees and power outages to destroyed beachfront property, Governor Dannel Malloy met with state and town officials as well as residents this afternoon in Madison to assess property and home damage caused by Hurricane Sandy.

Malloy spoke to a few residents on Circle Beach Road, taking a tour of several damaged beachfront properties along the shore before holding a press conference in Hartford later tonight.
