10/31/2012 05:00 PMFrom downed trees and power outages to destroyed beachfront property, Governor Dannel Malloy met with state and town officials as well as residents this afternoon in Guilford to assess property and home damage caused by Hurricane Sandy.
Malloy spoke to a couple residents down in the Indian Cove area of town prior to holding a press conference in Hartford later tonight.
Along for the tour was First Selectman Joseph Mazza, U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal, U.S. COngressman Rosa DeLauro, State Senator Edward Meyer, State Representative Patricia Widlitz, and selectmen Cynthia Cartier, Gary MacElhiney, and Charles Havrda.
