Police Seeking Info on Purse Snatcher
The Madison Police Department is investigating a purse snatching that occurred yesterday in the Madison Stop & Shop parking lot at approximately 8 p.m. The suspect approached a 55 year-old female in the parking lot, grabbed her purse, and fled from the area. The woman was uninjured in the incident. A light brown purse and its contents were taken.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 20 years old, with a thin build and dark curly hair. The suspect left the scene in a dark green, four-door sedan, possibly a Pontiac Bonneville, with Connecticut license plates. Witnesses stated that the last three characters of the license plate were “ZAC.”
