04/25/2012 10:00 AMIn a unanimous vote tonight, the Old Saybrook Board of Selectmen appointed Democrat Adam Stuart to fill the vacancy on the town’s Police Commission. Stuart, a retired Old Saybrook policeman, in last November’s election won more votes that any other Police Commission candidate not winning a seat. He also was the Democratic Town Committee’s recommended candidate for the open Commission vacancy arising from the recent resignation of Democrat Tom Zemieniski.
