East Main Street Pot Sale Investigation Leads to One Arrest
Following an investigation into marijuana sales at a residence at 296 East Main Street, Clinton Police executed a search warrant on the residence. Nicholas Clark, 20, of 296 East Main Street, was arrested and charged with risk of injury to a minor, possession of less than four ounces of marijuana, possession of hashish, possession of drug paraphernalia, and interfering with a search warrant.
In addition to marijuana and of hashish, the Clinton Police Department also located several pipes and bongs commonly used to smoke marijuana. While executing the search warrant, Clark attempted to hide a small amount of marijuana and was charged with interfering with a search warrant as a result. Clark also had his child in the residence when the police executed the search warrant and located the illegal drugs, leading to the risk of injury to a minor charge.
Clark was held on $10,000 bond pending his arraignment in Middletown Superior Court on Jan. 20.
Also in the residence was Clark's girlfriend, Ana Camacho, 20, of 296 East Main Street. Police located less than an ounce of marijuana in her possession; she was issued and infraction for possession of marijuana.
Another resident of 296 East Main Street, Jerrica Linkovich, 23, was also located inside the residence. Linkovich was found to be in possession of than an ounce of marijuana and was issued an infraction.
