Two Arrested in Bar Fight

North Haven Officers responded to a Bar on Universal Drive for a report of a fight on Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 12:30 a.m.  According to police 19-year old Brian Hacket of North Haven, and 25-year old John Sackett of West Haven were watching a football game in the bar. They began arguing over the game when Hacket lifted his bar stool and threw it in the air causing damage to a 42" plasma television. While staff restrained Hacket, Sackett approached him and punched Hacket in the face.

Brian Hacket was charged with Breach of Peace, and Criminal Mischief.  John Sackett was charged with Assault Third Degree, and Breach of Peace.  Both men are scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Jan. 5.
