Celebrate Old Saybrook's Gateway Scultpture

At the Gateway Plaza at Main Street and Route One, the sculpture “Fishing Boy” by Louise Wiley will be unveiled in a ceremony this Sunday, Dec. 18, at 2 p.m. The bronze sculpture’s design was donated by Louise Wiley, a local artist. The foundry costs to cast the sculpture in bronze were donated by generous residents. Come celebrate a public art work that symbolizes the town’s connection to the waters of the Connecticut River and Long Island Sound.
