08/02/2011 12:00 AMAfter putting off the purchase of a new vehicle to replace the existing Municipal Animal Control (MACO) van for a year, the Guilford Police Department is looking into a replacement van that will be outfitted for multi-purpose use.
"As you may or may not know, in last year's budget under the Animal Control, we requested replacement of the 2000 Ford," Deputy Police Chief Jeff Hutchinson told the Board of Selectmen at its Aug. 1 meeting.
He said they are looking to replace it with a 2012 Ford E250.
