'Earth Song' Book Signing Event at the Sanctuary
The Sanctuary will host a special event on Saturday, July 23: a book signing and film screening of Hans Lohse's much anticipated memoir "Earth Song."
An incredible story which begins in WWII Germany and ends on the top of a mountain in an off-grid house constructed by Hans according to the principles of Sacred Geometry, this book is filled with powerful visions of a peaceful, sustainable, beautiful world. Accompaning the book is a film of images and music orchestrated by Lohse which transports the viewer into a special field of insight and love for life and Earth.
The evening will begin at 7 p.m. with a reception in the East Haddam Sanctuary yurt where Lohse will be on hand to sign copies of his book. Wine and refreshments will be served. The Sanctuary tribe is sure to be in full attendance.
At 9 p.m., there will be an outdoor screening of the Earth Song film (inside if the weather is bad). This meditative experience features hundreds of photographs taken by Lohse, woven together into a dramatic visual recasting of his dramatic life story.
The accompanying sound track features experimental music composed and orchestrated by Lohse along with several musicians he works with.
