In the July 14 Issue: ESSEX – Who's Running for Election in November?

The two political parties will be caucusing later this month to choose candidates for the November municipal election. Members of both parties say their respective nominating committees are interviewing candidates, but they are reluctant to name names prior to their caucuses.

One point is certain, however. First Selectman Philip Miller will not be seeking re-election for the town's top spot.
