Carpe diem! Annual Greek and Roman Day celebrated at Baldwin

GUILFORD – Team 6-2 at Baldwin Middle School celebrated its annual Greek and Roman Day on Friday, June 3. All students participated in the festivities, dressed in ancient Greek or Roman attire.

Students and teachers on the team transformed themselves into gods and goddesses, mythological beasts and Greek philosophers.

Team 6-2, made up of Athenians, Spartans and Romans, paraded through the school, feasted from the “banquet” table which included food from Italy and Greece, share original myths and participate in Olympic game activities.
