State police have found a downed plane with two occupants in a marshy area along Stevenston Road (Rte. 145) in Deep River near the Westbrook border within a few miles of the Chester Airport. No information on the condition of the two occupants or the plane itself are available.

Police were alerted to the situation by a caller reporting a low-flying aircraft over property followed by the sounds of a crash. State police are currently on the scene with local fire and EMS personnel.
