Documentary of America's Youth to Air at Morgan High School
The Community Coalitions of Clinton, Guilford, Madison, and Westbrook invite the public to a viewing of the documentary film "Race to Nowhere" at the Morgan School tonight, May 17 at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
A concerned mother turned filmmaker aims her camera at the high-stakes, high-pressure culture that has invaded our schools and our children's lives, creating unhealthy, disengaged, unprepared and stressed-out youth.
"Race to Nowhere" is a call to action to challenge the current assumptions on how to best prepare the youth of America to become healthy, bright, contributing and leading citizens.
Advance purchase tickets are $10 (plus surcharge) at www.firstselectmanstaskforce.org or $15/ticket at the door.
