Westbrook Registrars of Voters Hold Voter Registration
Residents are urged to register to vote or update their voter registration records to be able to vote in the November 2, 2010 Election. The Registrars’ regular office hours are Tuesdays from 11am to 1pm and Thursdays from 5pm to 7pm or by appointment. Registration applications are also available on a table outside the Registrars’ Office and may be submitted by mail postmarked no later than Tuesday, October 19, 2010. In addition there will be special registration sessions at the Registrars’ Office at the Mulvey Municipal Center, 866 Boston Post Road.
Tuesday, October 26, 2010 from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm is the last regular voter registration session. Applicants must appear in person with identification.
Monday, November 1, 2010 from 9:00 am to 12 noon there will be a session for those seeking to vote in the election whose qualifications as to age, citizenship or residence was attained after October 26, 2010. The applicants must appear in person and show proof of qualification.
If you are a registered voter and will be out of town for the November 2, 2010 election, contact the Town Clerk’s office to apply for an absentee ballot.
The Election will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 from 6am to 8 pm in the Mulvey Municipal Center at 866 Boston Post Road in the Multi-Purpose Room. All registered voters are asked to bring proper Id.
