05/14/2010 12:00 AMThe Madison Police Criminal Investigations Division conducted a month long investigation involving the local distribution of marijuana. On May 7, Madison Police executed a search and seizure warrant at 55 Nathans Lane, Madison.
One of Madison's newest police recruits, "Gwen", a narcotic detection canine, was utilized in the search of the premise. Madison Police seized approximately 43 grams of marijuana, an assortment of narcotic pills, drug paraphernalia, and currency.
David Montuori, 20, a resident of 55 Nathans Lane, Madison, was arrested and charged with sale of marijuana, illegal possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Montuori is scheduled to appear at court in New Haven on May 18.

George Jenkins, 18, of#283 Horse Pond Road, Madison, was present in the apartment at the time of the search. Jenkins was arrested for possession of marijuana and is schedule to appear at court in New Haven on May 19.
A Madison juvenile was arrested following a canine detection search of a motor vehicle parked on the premise of 55 Nathans Lane. Madison Police personnel seized approximately three grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The juvenile was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected.
