Ordinary Days
Guilford’s First Congregational Church will be transformed into a theater with a full-size stage for the musical “Ordinary Days,” featuring a star-studded local cast: Amy Earls, Julie Fitzpatrick, Matt Landry-McWilliams and Michael Lindsay, with musical direction by the great Bill Speed. Ukrainian Carols and Sacred Hymns: A Conversation with Marika Kuzma
Enjoy an evening of Ukrainian history and culture as Marika Kuzma—internationally known choral master, conductor, music scholar, educator and GreenStage advisory board member—discusses her new book, “Carols of Birds, Bells, and Sacred Hymns from Ukraine: An Anthology and Cultural Companion.” GreenStage’s executive director Peter Hawes moderates this conversation about Marika’s collection of Christmas carols, sacred hymns and secular holiday music—and the stories behind them from the region of her ancestry.
