Beyond Intermission: Thriving in Your Third Act
Beyond Intermission: Thriving in Your Third Act, a workshop offered by Amy J. Barry, will be offered on Tuesdays, from Nov. 12 through Dec. 10 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Willoughby Wallace Memorial Library, 146 Thimble Island Road, in the Stony Creek section of Branford.
As each generation lives longer, more active lives— people in their 50s, 60s, 70s and beyond, still working or retired, married, divorced, single or widowed, are finding themselves asking the same question: How will I spend the next 20, 30 or even 40 years? In this workshop Barry of Stony Creek, will implement creative visualizations, hands-on expressive art and writing exercises, current research findings, and group discussion and feedback to help participants get unstuck and move beyond intermission into a rich and rewarding third act. Barry is a certified express arts facilitator, published author and poet, award-winning journalist, and Hospice-trained bereavement counselor.
