Lobster Landing, 152 Commerce Street, Clinton, finally has the permits in place to raise up its building, which has been repeatedly and increasingly threatened by rising waters. As a result, they will close earlier this season than they normally do. The last day will be Saturday, Sept. 29. But until then, they plan to remain open seven days a week, weather allowing. And they plan their normal season next year from April through the end of December. All best luck to the folks there with the construction work!
