A friend and I were recently considering late lunch/early dinner options, and we decided to head out to Chester. We ended up at Honeycone Cream Co., 29 Main Street, Chester, which specializes in small batch ice cream in a wide and sometimes surprising variety of flavors. My friend got a hot fudge sundae that he absolutely adored and I opted for the ice cream flight of six flavors. I got olive oil, Cretan sea salt, stracciatella, pasteli (sesame honey), matcha, bananas foster, and Greek coffee. We then ambled over to Simon’s Market, right down the street, and got one of their salted baguettes (aka crack bread) for dessert. After about a half hour of window shopping later, we were back on our way home, very happy about our late afternoon well spent.
