Spectrum Art Gallery and Artisans Store of Centerbrook presents Childhood – Let’s Never Grow Up!, from Friday, Nov. 17 through Saturday, Jan. 13. We are all children during the holidays so ‘tis the season to celebrate childhood and its meaning. Discover new artwork by established and emerging artists from throughout the region who explore this theme. An opening reception is on Friday, Nov. 17, from 6:30 to 9 p.m., and Open House Weekend is Saturday, Nov. 18, from 1 to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 19 from 1 to 5 p.m. The gallery is open Wednesday through Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. Between Dec. 9 and 23, open Monday to Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. On Sunday, Dec. 24, the gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Spectrum Gallery is located at 61 Main St., Centerbrook.
