East Shore District Health Department (ESDHD) will hold public COVID-19 vaccine clinics at its office, located at 688 East Main Street, Branford and it will also offer clinics in several different towns.
ESDHD will be offering the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to anyone age 12 and older. The CDC recommends that everyone 6 months and older receive an updated COVID-19 vaccine. As immunity to COVID-19 decreases over time, receiving an updated COVID-19 vaccine can restore protection and provide greater protection against the variants currently responsible for most infections and hospitalizations throughout the country.
Clinics held at ESDHD’s office will be by appointment only. To schedule your appointment, please call the office at 203-481-4233. Other clinics are scheduled in the community, including some that allow walk-ins. ESDHD accepts health insurance, please be prepared to provide your insurance company and ID number when scheduling your appointment.
If you don’t have insurance, ESDHD will be participating in the Bridge Access Program, which means they will be providing no-cost COVID-19 vaccines to adults without health insurance and adults whose insurance does not cover all COVID-19 vaccine costs.
