Just in Time for Summer: A Talk on Unique Eats and Eateries of Connecticut


Planning on enjoying the butteriest lobster rolls in Connecticut this summer? Want to compare the breakfast menus at the best diners in the state? On Tuesday, May 2, Essex Library is hosting Mike Urban, the author of Unique Eats and Eateries of Connecticut, for a talk at 7 p.m. Unique Eats and Eateries of Connecticut covers all eight counties in the state and introduces the people and tells the stories behind 85 culinary destinations.

A resident of the Connecticut shoreline, Urban has written other books, including Clam Shacks, Lobster Shacks, The New England Diner Cookbook, and The New England Seafood Markets Cookbook. He contributes regularly to Yankee magazine. The event is free and open to the public. Registration is requested but not required.
