Two area purveyors of food and drink are taking a creative approach to Girl Scout Cookie season. Over at Bishop’s Orchards Farm Market, 1355 Boston Post Road, Guilford, one of their March specials is the Thin Mint Cookie Sandwich which involves mint chocolate chip ice cream being stuffed between two chocolate wafer cookies, then rolled in mini chocolate chips. And, the creative geniuses over at One World Roasters, 967 North High Street, East Haven, developed the Samoa Scout, fresh-ground Black Kat espresso beans paired with caramel topped with dark chocolate and toasted coconut .
