Oldest State-Wide Photography Show Competition Accepting Admissions

Shoreline Arts Alliance is opening submissions for IMAGES, Connecticut’s oldest state-wide photography competition. IMAGES is a jury-curated photography exhibition that will be held at Lyme Academy of Fine Arts in Old Lyme from Oct. 12 to Nov. 6.

Submissions for Shoreline Arts Alliance’s IMAGES will be accepted virtually with a noon deadline on Thursday, Sept. 15. The virtual submissions will be juried, and photographers who are accepted into the show will be asked to drop off their physical work at the gallery the weekends of Oct. 1 and 2 and Oct. 8 and 9. Shoreline Arts Alliance encourages all Connecticut photographers of all skill-levels to submit their work to IMAGES.

The IMAGES 2022 physical exhibition will run with a virtual show running concurrently on the Shoreline Arts Alliance website. Selected works will be exhibited at Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, from Nov. 9 to Jan. 12, 2023.
