The George Flynn Classical Concert Series Presents Hartford Chorale and Opera Theater of Connecticut
On Sunday, Nov. 20, The George Flynn Classical Concerts series will present the Hartford Chorale in collaboration with the Opera Theater of Connecticut (OTC), featuring a selection of well-known choruses and ensemble pieces by Bizet, Puccini, Rossini, Verdi, Wagner, and other great opera composers.
The concert will be conducted by Hartford Chorale Music Director Richard Coffey, accompanied by Kyle Swann, and narrated by OTC’s artistic director, Alan Mann.
The Hartford Chorale is a chorus of more than 150 men and women who come from Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, and Rhode Island. Since 1986, OTC has offered high-quality opera productions at the Andrews Memorial Town Hall in Clinton. Its slogan, “Experience affordable opera in an intimate setting,” represents the artistic vision, as well as the history, of the company.
The Nov. 20 concert will be held at the new Morgan High School Auditorium at 71 Killingworth Turnpike in Clinton.
