Dear friends, supporters, and all who placed your trust in me,

We have reached the end of a journey that we walked together with hope, passion, and purpose. While the results were not what we had hoped, we came incredibly close (less than 1% difference), and I am incredibly proud of the campaign we ran. Our message resonated with so many people, and the energy we created will continue to shape the future in powerful ways.

To everyone who dedicated their time, energy, and resources to this campaign, thank you! Your belief in our shared cause and your commitment to our shared values have been both inspiring and humbling. From countless volunteers to the voters who believed in a shared vision, you have given so much, and I am grateful beyond words.

To my opponent, congratulations. This has been a hard-fought race, and I respect the choice of the voters. I am committed to working together wherever possible to build a better future for all of us.

Though I may not hold this office, the issues we championed are still vital. I urge each of you to stay engaged and continue advocating for change. Together, let’s keep pushing forward, determined to make a difference in our community.
