You’re Invited
You will see yellow open studio signs around town Saturday, Nov. 16, and Sunday, Nov. 17, inviting the public to see where and how artists work. Now in its 24th year, the Shoreline Arts Trail provides a chance for over 40 professional artists in the towns of Branford, Guilford and Madison to share their work with the community. The juried group works in wood, glass, paper, paint, fiber, clay, and mixed media.
We have a large following from near and far and many local business sponsors. Having started this group 24 years ago in my living room, I want to thank the community for their enthusiasm and continuous support through the years.
In planning your weekend, visit our website shorelineartstrail.org to find maps for each town and a sampling of the work of each artist. Pick your favorites and drop in. The artwork is for sale, but we are open to the public this one weekend a year because we want to share what we do and educate the community about how we create. Bring the whole family!
If you find, you cannot get everywhere you want, contact the artists and ask for an appointment at another time.
