Tireless and Persistent

I am urging voters in the 12th Senate District to reelect Christine Cohen on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

Christine's commitment to the needs of her district can be seen in the committees on which she sits. She is currently deputy president pro tempore of the State Senate and chair of the Environmental Committee. As chair, she founded the bipartisan Coastal Caucus, which gives strength to the voices of coastal communities. She is a member of the Reproductive Rights Caucus and is vice chair of the Commerce Committee. As a small business owner, Christine knows well the concerns such entrepreneurs deal with daily. She is alsochair of the Bioscience Caucus of the Connecticut General Assembly, as that industry expands across the state.

As a member of Killingworth's Board of Selectman during Christine's first two terms in office, I found it a pleasure to work with her. She was always available for questions about legislation and funding. I know she has the best interests of my town at heart and genuinely respects the voters she serves. Christine continues to amaze me with her ability to prioritize important issues and make things happen.

With busy lives ourselves, it can be hard to keep track of all that happens in Hartford during legislative sessions. One way to catch up on what Christine has been accomplishing with her colleagues is to check out her website, SenatorCohenct.com, and click “On the Issues.” She is tireless and persistent in her work for our towns.

State Senator Christine Cohen doesn’t just have a seat at the table; she is often at the head of the table. That’s good for our district. Let's reelect Christine this Nov. 5.
