I am writing to express my support for State Representative Chris Aniskovich. Chris moved to Clinton a little over 20 years ago. In that time, Chris raised a family and started a successful private business that he still owns and operates in Clinton today. Chris also became involved in his town in a civic minded capacity. Chris volunteered and served as a coach and on the boards involving youth sports leagues in town. Chris didn’t stop there; he then became involved in his community, serving on multiple boards and commissions, including the Zoning Commission, as well as an inaugural member of Clinton’s first elected Town Council.

Chris was so well respected by his peers in all parties that he was unanimously named the very first chairman of the Town Council and still continues to serve as a councilman today. Chris was elected a State Representative in 2022. Chris has tirelessly served his constituents in the towns of Clinton, Kiliingworth, and Westbrook during this tenure as a State Representative. His record has shown he has worked across party lines, with both Democratic and Republican law makers in Hartford, to benefit all of his constituents that he serves!

I have known Chris personally and professionally for many years. I know him to be an individual of high esteem. Chris is a registered Republican, but he does not make decisions based on partisan politics. Chris cares about people regardless of their political affiliation and what is best for the people he serves and represents. Chris puts people before politics!! This is the kind of representative that “we, the people” of the 35th District, deserve! I urge you all to support and vote for Chris Aniskovich on Election Day.
