Represents Our Values

I am hoping you will join me in supporting Senator Christine Cohen's reelection. Since 2015, she has been actively involved in making our community stronger, first as an elected member of Guilford's Board of Education and over the last six years as State Senator for Connecticut's 12th District.

Sen. Cohen's success is due to her ability to listen to others and work across the aisle to find compromises and solutions to the many issues we face. However, Christine's most important attribute is her work ethic and attention to detail. She is always prepared; she knows the issues, and if she doesn't, she will promptly and thoroughly get to the bottom of it.

Christine is unafraid to tackle the tough issues from climate change to school funding and tax fairness.

She takes a measured and pragmatic approach to the most complex issues facing our state. While some take election season as an opportunity to go negative and talk poorly about our state, Christine remains positive. Of course, we are not without our challenges, but Christine faces the issues head-on with optimism and an open mind. That is exactly the kind of leader I want to represent me in Hartford.

Connecticut is an accepting, safe, and forward-looking place that I am glad to call home. I am eager to vote for Christine, who represents our values and will keep us moving in the right direction. I hope you will join me.
