I am writing in support of John-Michael Parker. I first met John-Michael in 2017 and was quickly impressed with his genuineness. He has deep roots in the community, coming back to his hometown to start a family with his wife, Joyce. He truly cares about the people of Madison and considers his role as that of a public servant, not a politician. This is evident by his role as co-chair of Connecticut’s Future Caucus, which brings bipartisan legislators together to create policies that will benefit future generations.

He routinely works across the aisle to get policies passed. If there were more people in government like John-Michael, more things would get done! Madison has benefited from his representation by receiving millions of dollars in grant money. He supported the budget that cut over $650 million in taxes, including a child tax credit, cuts to property taxes for seniors, extending the gas tax cut, extending free bus service, and cuts to pension and annuity taxes.

John-Michael is fiscally responsible while working on priorities such as children’s mental health, reforming the juvenile justice system, protecting women’s reproductive rights, and passing sensible legislation to reduce gun violence, to name a few.

I am voting for John-Michael on Tuesday, Nov. 5., and I hope you will join me in supporting this outstanding candidate.
