10/23/2024 08:00 AMWith less than 20 days until Election Day, I am asking you to join me in voting for Cinzia Lettieri for the 35th District. I had the opportunity to meet with Cinzia to discuss why she is running for office. What I took away is that Cinzia cares deeply about her hometown of Clinton and it is clear that her public service in Clinton has positioned her to be an effective leader in Hartford to serve the residents and businesses of the 35th.
Cinzia cares about the same issues and topics we all do: Connecticut's economy, education, healthcare, and aging infrastructure.
Cinzia supports students in the district who want to join the military, go off to college, or become a member of the trades after high school.
Cinzia will support funding and programming for our trade schools to allow those students who choose the trades to have the tools and are trained to join the workforce after graduation.
As a Westbrook resident and a member of Westbrook’s Board of Finance, it concerns me when I read/hear about towns outside of the district that receive state funding for projects like those planned in Westbrook. We need a representative who is willing to put in the work to make sure Westbrook receives its fair share of state funding – Cinzia will be that representative.
On Tuesday, Nov. 5, vote for the 35th District – Cinzia Lettieri.
