The Right Time
We believe now is the right time to move forward and adopt an updated governance structure for the Town of Chester. After two years of intense research, two different bipartisan committees came to similar conclusions about the benefits of a charter. It’s time to act. The Chester Charter addresses the complex issues of today, strengthens voter rights, expands voter choice, increases voter involvement, and provides stronger financial controls and transparency while providing flexibility for our community’s ever-changing needs.
The Chester Charter is a sustainable blueprint for today and for the future. It was developed by Republicans, Democrats, and unaffiliated voters—for the benefit of all. Please join us and vote yes this election to adopt the Chester Charter.
