The Background to Be a Leader

As a former member of North Haven’s Board of Education and Board of Finance, I am writing to express my strong support for Kieran Ahern for State Representative in the 87th District. We need Kieran in Hartford as part of the clear Democratic majority in the House of Representatives to advocate for legislation that will reduce the tax burden on North Haven taxpayers.

In addition, Kieran’s expertise as an electricity power market analyst will be an invaluable asset to the legislature at a time when the current electric utility rate design is causing our electric bills to increase unreasonably. His experience in conservation, sustainability, and planning for long-term growth provides him with the background to be a leader in fostering responsible utility regulation.
