Christine Cohen is a great, effective state senator who puts issues ahead of party politics. She addresses the major issues of our time, such as the biodiversity crisis, by promoting the banning of harmful pesticides and protecting habitats. She tackles climate change, e.g., her recent acquisition of funding for increased Shore Line East service, thus increasing public transportation and lowering carbon emissions. She has increased clean energy options and funding to address sea level rise and storm surges. Christine has defended women’s right to choose the reproductive health care they want, cut costs for families via funding affordable health care, decreased toxic pollution by advocating for clean energy and expanding the PFAS ban, and strengthening gun control and protection of domestic violence victims.
