I have known Devin Carney as our State Representative and also as a friend. Devin is selfless and dedicated, and he truly cares about the needs of his constituents.

Devin has helped my daughter and her employees get critical assistance from the Department of Labor. He worked nonstop to prevent the federal government from building new rail tracks that would have destroyed historic and environmentally important parts of the district. He organized people to combat a school redistricting plan that would have really hurt our schools. He also fights for us against special interests that want to tax us more solely because we live in Old Saybrook. He wants to ensure that our future generations, like my grandchildren, can afford to live in Connecticut and live the American Dream.

He is a staple in our community and has sacrificed a lot to be an effective leader. Any questions about Devin’s character are politically driven nonsense. He deserves another term to work for us, and I am confident we will be in good hands. I hope you will join me in voting for him early, starting on Monday, Oct. 21, or on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5.D
