The Voice Branford Deserves

I am writing to encourage my fellow Branford residents to vote for Ray Ingraham as the next State Representative for the 102nd District.

Ray has served for the past 11 years on Branford’s Representative Town Meeting (RTM), 10 as its majority leader. In that capacity, he has helped keep Branford taxes low while improving the services afforded to our community.

I cannot think of a better person to represent us in Hartford, where, quite frankly, our shoreline community has been forgotten. Are you tired of seeing increasing state taxes? More unfunded mandates being placed on our town? Less of your state income tax being used to benefit our community? Well, we as voters can say enough!

Recently, we all experienced the impact of ineffective leadership in Hartford, which hit our wallets with the recent increase in the public use charge on our electric bills. This charge was the direct result of our current representatives in Hartford not doing what is in the best interest of their constituents. And we are all paying for it.

Ray will go to Hartford with the same mission he has carried out as a member of our RTM, which is simply to do what is in the best interest of all residents of Branford. Branford residents deserve full-time representation that will fight for our interests. Ray is that person.

So, join me in voting Ray Ingraham as our next state representative, and give Branford the voice it deserves in Hartford. Vote Ray Ingraham starting Monday, Oct. 21, through Sunday, Nov. 2.
