I am writing to endorse Moira Rader as State Representative for the 98th District. Moira is a talented, dedicated public servant and has excelled as our state rep. Character and willingness to tackle any problem are the hallmarks of Moira’s career, both in Hartford and as a member of the Guilford Board of Education. As state rep., Moira voted to pass the largest tax cut in Connecticut history while also working to reduce retirement income tax burdens. Another priority has been to work with other legislators and the governor’s office to pay down generations of pension debt and secure our rainy-day fund.

As state rep., Moira is committed to protecting women’s reproductive healthcare rights and making permanent expanded telehealth access. She has also been an advocate for advancing safe gun legislation and prioritizing children’s mental health needs. Moira has core values in support of education, affordability for all Connecticut citizens, and to protect the environment for current and future generations.
