Will Support Democratic Principles

I submit this letter in support of the candidacy of Renee LaMark Muir for State Representative.

I believe that Ms. Muir will support democratic principles. However, my point of view is based on the particular consideration of my law enforcement background as a former prosecutor and assistant U.S. attorney.

Ms. Muir has an unusual background. She is a former homicide detective with the Hartford Police Department. She also has had extensive experience as an investigator with the Program Review and Investigations Committee of the General Assembly - a position that has involved the investigation of political corruption.

I believe that these qualifications will stand her in good stead as a member of the General Assembly.
