Start This Project All Over
I am Responding to Janet Nicolini's "We are the Decision Makers" in the Sept. 12 The Source and second her suggestion to start this project all over using today's costs and all needed upgrades, making the project total about $20 million in true costs, today, if approved in February 2025, Surprised? This expenditure would follow the $59 million new Neck River Elementary School now in construction. Is this what the resident taxpayers want when many facilities in Madison have the means to provide the community activities requested by the special interests and Democrat politicians pushing this project? What happened to the tenants who were supposed to provide revenue to fund the project for the February 2022 referendum, and where are they now? Are they included in the plan or just in the spending?
Make your wishes known at the next Board of Selectmen meeting and note who insists on voting for this boondoggle. Elections are not too far off.
