Important Qualities We Need

I have known Jane WisialowskI, State Representative candidate for the 23rd District, for many years. Many residents of Old Saybrook already know her as a parent deeply involved in school activities. More recently, Jane was elected to the Parks and Recreation Commission. As a member of that commission, I recommended her endorsement and wholeheartedly supported her candidacy.

Jane, an energetic and hardworking leader, freely offers excellent ideas for member consideration during the discussion and decision-making process. Her knowledge of details on any project under consideration demonstrates that she does the “due diligence” work needed to be an effective commissioner on Parks and Rec. This was especially evident when the commission considered the need for and cost of improvements to the Ferry Road soccer field. Jane respects and cooperates with other commissioners without regard to political affiliation. This will be an important asset when she wins her seat in the Connecticut House of Representatives.

Jane Wisialowski has demonstrated important qualities we need in a State Representative. She will vote to protect the natural resources and infrastructure of our shoreline communities against the ravages of climate change and will work for all the citizens of the 23rd District.
