As a small business owner and community leader who served as vice chair of the Commerce Committee, Christine understands the challenges and opportunities facing our local economy. She knows what it takes to create jobs, support businesses, and ensure economic prosperity so that everyone thrives.

As chair of the Transportation Committee, Christine has worked tirelessly to improve our infrastructure, ensure safe and efficient travel, and promote sustainable transportation solutions. She was instrumental in securing $5 million for the Shoreline East, which will restore two trains in the morning and two in the evening.

Senator Cohen served as chair of the Environment Committee for four years and fought to preserve our natural resources, combat climate change, and eliminate pollutants from our environment. She’s committed to ensuring that every child in Connecticut has access to a 21st-century education.
