09/18/2024 08:00 AMAs a lifelong resident of Connecticut, I am deeply concerned about the direction our state is headed. Our electricity rates are skyrocketing, making it harder for families and seniors to afford basic living expenses. It seems Christine Cohen has had her chance to address these issues, but her solutions have only resulted in higher costs.
Paul Crisci, on the other hand, offers real solutions. He’s committed to lowering energy rates by promoting green energy—a sensible approach that balances environmental responsibility with the need to make life more affordable for everyone in our state.
Equally concerning is the crime crisis. Everyone I know has been affected by the opioid epidemic—many of us have lost friends or loved ones to fentanyl overdoses. We cannot afford policies that weaken our police force at a time when we need them the most. Cohen voted for the Police Accountability Bill, a law that our law enforcement agencies didn’t support. How are the police supposed to keep us safe if they aren’t given the support they need?
Paul Crisci stands with the police. He understands the challenges they face and has pledged to reform the Police Accountability Bill to make sure our officers are properly equipped to protect us. We need leaders who will work with—not against—our police to make Connecticut safer for everyone.
This November, the choice is clear: Paul Crisci for State Senate.
